意大利外交：中等强国的特点与变化

Abstract:Influenced by domestic party politics，the post-Cold War Italian Foreign Policy has swung between multilateralism and unilateralism/bilateralism. Italian foreign policy has changed significantly since the coalition government of Five Star Movement and League established in June 2018. Italy put more emphasis on its national interests in the EU-Italy relations，conflicted with traditional allies such as France and Germany，and became closer to Russia and China. These changes were mainly caused by the ruling parties，but also reflected the tension within the EU and the evolution of international order. Based on the political mutual trust and economic complementarities，China-Italy cooperation in the framework of Belt and Road Initiative is promising. With the establishment of a new Italian government in September 2019，the prospects of China-Italy cooperation will continue to be affected by the volatile Italian politics，the EU’s approach to China and also the US-China relations.
