2020～2021年澳大利亚国内政治形势分析

Abstract:From 2020 to 2021，adjustments have been made in the ruling Coalition and within the Opposition party in preparation for the upcoming federal election. Morrison has reshuffled his cabinet twice in an attempt to repair the government’s reputation and regain voters’trust. Albanese has also launched a major reshuffle of the opposition shadow cabinet to maintain party unity and demonstrate the “fighting strength” of the Labor Party. In policy terms，with the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact lasting throughout the year，prevention measures and economic policies surrounding the epidemic has become the major domestic policy agenda. Meanwhile，climate policy is also a focus to the parties and voters. Judging from the voters’ approval ratings to the parties and to Morrison and Albanese，as well as several major election campaigns in 2020 and 2021，the Coalition still have an edge and the Labor’s chances of winning the campaign are slim.
