Abstract:The unique history of Romania has created the diversity of its culture，and its intangible cultural heritage presents unique charm and has become an important intangible asset for the development of this country. Romania has not only been seeking to protect the extraordinary value of intangible cultural heritage such as religious festivals，traditional crafts and special cultural ceremonies in folk life，but also passing on these little-known special living habits from generation to generation. This report introduces the classification，related laws and institutions of intangible cultural heritage in Romania，elaborates on the specific measures taken to protect the intangible cultural heritage in Romania；in particular，it outlines several significant features of the intangible cultural heritage preservation work，while finally summarizes and analyzes the trends in work related to intangible cultural heritage in Romania.
