Abstract:Cross-border payment blockchain solutions have the advantages of low cost，real-time settlement and information traceability，which have a transformative impact on the market and financial system. At present，the strategies adopted by global institutions can be divided into three categories，one is to build a distributed payment network for blockchain-based technology finance companies. The second is that financial institutions accept cryptocurrencies as payments. The third is the cross-border payment experimental project of the central bank’s digital currency，exploring the use of the central bank’s digital currency for cross-border settlement. Promoting the technology’s global use requires the development of relevant standards，regulations，and legal frameworks appropriate to different jurisdictions，cooperation between financial institutions，regulators and innovators to improve the interoperability of blockchain networks，as well as improved digital identities，secure and user-friendly key management systems to ensure the scalability of transactions.
