Abstract:In 2020，the world is affected by the COVID-19 epidemic，and the economic growth speed has slowed down. However，the digital economy of Yangtze River Delta region has further developed in the past year under the background of the strong growth of the national digital economy. Shanghai’s digital economy has accounted for more than 50% of GDP，the scale of Jiangsu Province’s digital economy has exceeded 4.4 trillion yuan，accounting for more than 43% of GDP，the total digital economy in Zhejiang Province has exceeded 3 trillion yuan，accounting for more than 46% of GDP，and the added value of the digital economy in Anhui Province exceeded 1 trillion yuan for the first time. At the same time，in the past year，the digital infrastructure of the Yangtze River Delta region has been greatly improved，the electronic information manufacturing industry，software and information technology service industries have all increased significantly. Looking forward to 2021，the digital economy in the Yangtze River Delta region will further develop，digital consumer demand will further expand，5G will be applied to more commercial and manufacturing fields，and digital integration in the Yangtze River Delta region will develop in depth.
