Abstract:In order to accurately describe the development status of the integration of the Yangtze River Delta，this article is based on the goals and requirements put forward in the Outline of integrated development of Yangtze River Delta issued in 2019 to conduct a comprehensive evaluation. This article analyzes the characteristics of the policies introduced，interprets the overall requirements of the outline and subdivides the development goals，so as to scientifically design relevant indicators for qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the development level. To sort out the main measures of the Yangtze River Delta in forming a new pattern of coordinated regional development，strengthening the construction of a collaborative innovation industry system，improving the level of infrastructure interconnection，strengthening the joint protection of the ecological environment，accelerating the convenience and sharing of public services，and promoting a higher level of coordination and opening up. Quantify indicators at all levels based on statistical data and assign reasonable weights to describe the development trend of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. This article draws the following conclusions：The integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta shows a clear upward trend in the comprehensive index and various sub-indices，but the growth rate of the sub-indices is quite different. It shows that the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta during the 13th five year plan period is rapidly integrated，and the development trends in different fields are different. Among them，the construction of the integrated development system of the science and innovation industry，the level of infrastructure interconnection and the joint protection of the ecological environment have grown most rapidly.
