Abstract:This article attempts to demonstrate China’s complex policy and practices regarding protection of overseas interests between 2014 and 2015，and to illustrate the latest changes and future trends. Although there are many criticisms of the structure and specific Chinese policies to protect overseas interests，as well as some serious challenges from the external environment and outside events，there have not been substantial changes to China’s system of interest protection，including its principle of non-intervention，its foreign investment model，or its international regime building. Chinese policy has been improving cautiously，while maintaining its basic direction.
