Abstract:Pakistan is an important country in South Asia，and an important strategic partner to China. “Sino-Pakistani economic corridor” constructed by China and Pakistan，is a necessary part for the implementation of the strategy of The Belt and Road. This paper analyzes Pakistan’s economic development and the competitive ability in the international market，through GDP，the international market share，the trade competitiveness index and the index of the comparative advantage index. The paper mainly analyzes the changing trend of direct investment，import and export between China and Pakistan，and then points out the economic basis and the direction of further economic cooperation between China and Pakistan.
