Abstract:This Chapter outlines main activities of China’s administration of foreign exchange in 2015.Based on the past reforms，it focuses on the three main aspects in the administrative actions of foreign exchange in 2016，which includes reforms in capital flow management，reforms in RMB exchange rate formation mechanism and reforms aiming at enhancing “The Belt and Road”. The chapter concludes that China’s administration of foreign exchange will focus on discerning the potential risks in the FX market and improve macro-prudential framework of foreign debt and cross-border capital flow management and to support the new “The Belt and Road” Initiative.
