《明史》所载“中荷首次交往”舛误辨析

Abstract:During the process of compilation of Ming Historyin the early Qing dynasty，there are some different records of the first encounter between China and Dutch among different versions. Youdong and Wan Sitong’s versions only offered brief and similar narrations. On the basis of the previous two versions，Wang Hongxu adopted some records of Guofei’s A General History of Guangdong，and added a sentence “Tax envoy Li Dao summoned the chief to the city，and travel for a month there” to Biography of Dutch. Latter this record was accepted and kept in Zhang Tingyu’s version. But according to the western documents，this record is erroneous. Guofei probably mistakenly planted the Spanish friar Diego Aduart’s travel in Guangzhou in 1599 into his records of Hongmao Gui.
