社会性别与气候变化——国际主流化趋势及我国的对策

Abstract:The issue of gender equality has become one of the four major themes in international community as well as hunan rights，population and enviroment. And the gender mainstreaming is a globally accepted strategy to promote gender equality. Considering gender in the process of formulating the climate change policy can improve the effects of the policies and measures. So，gender should be integrated into all mechanisms，policies，measures，tools，and guidelines that tackle climate changes. In China，women in poverty-stricken areas are the main victim of climate change，and the China’s government and scholars have started to pay close attention to the impact of climate change on women and has taken some effective policies and measures. It is urgent to improve women’s enthusiasm in engaging in climate change decision-making，to promote the important role of women in climate change issues and disaster prevention and mitigation，and to strengthen the study of the relationship between gender and climate change in China.
