Abstract:The Slovak economy grew slowly in 2012. The Smer-SD clearly won the early election with 44 percent of the vote and occupied a parliamentary majority. The new government set forth measures on fiscal austerity and tax increase. There was a rising tension between the Slovak and Roma. The Fico government takes a positive attitude towards the EU affairs. And Slovakia keeps good relations with China. 展开
