Abstract:The Swedish economy is going through a subdued recovery. With the world economy taking a turn for the better, especially in its major trade partners, the economic growth in Sweden is expected to accelerate in 2013. Sweden is one of the world's leading information and communication technology nations. It once again tops the rankings in the "Global Information Technology Report 2011-2012" released by the World Economic Forum. The development and dissemination of the information and communication technology is helpful to improve the national competitiveness of Sweden. Because of the euro zone debt crisis, most of the Swedish people still oppose Sweden to join the euro zone.
