Abstract:In 2019，the official development assistance provided by the international community to sub-Saharan Africa continued to increase compared with that of 2018. Among them，the volume of aid from traditional donors to Africa has decreased compared with 2018，while that from emerging donors has increased significantly. The allocation of funds was relatively concentrated. Ethiopia，Nigeria，Kenya，Tanzania and Uganda are the top five recipient countries，accounting for 30% of the total volume. As Africa’s most important development partner，China continued to assist African countries in coping with development difficulties through constructing infrastructure，providing materials，conducting technical cooperation，and dispatching medical teams. However，the more challenging external environment has exacerbated the development vulnerability of African countries，which makes the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals（SDGs）face the risk of stagnation. In the context of the weak growth of traditional donors in the future，the aid for trade has been given higher expectations.
