Abstract:In 2018，China’s insurance industry developed steadily，while property insurance business grew rapidly and life insurance business operated smoothly. The insurance supervision of 2018 centered on perfecting the corporate governance structure of insurance companies and preventing the major risks adhering to the development principle of people-centered. The goals of the policies in 2018 were to strengthen the supervision to corporate governance structure of insurance companies，further standardize the management of insurance funds and reinforce the risk prevention and control of the insurance industry. At the same time，the government has promoted the opening up of China’s insurance market to the whole world，actively guided the insurance to serve the development of the real economy，and adopted a series of measures to facilitate the reform of insurance products and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers，to make sure that the deepening reform of China’s insurance industry proceeded smoothly.
