Abstract:From 2010 to 2011, numerous academic books and papers of the domestic African academics were published and lively academic activities were conducted in China. They are mostly around the fields of: African politics, economy and international relations, social and cultural issues and so on. Among such fields, political development in Africa, issues of poverty and agriculture and China-Africa relations were paid close attention to by the scholars; The upheaval in North Africa, presidential election in Sudan, the independence of South Sudan and the participation of South Africa in the "BRICS" also became the hotspots of the academics; Some research areas which had been relatively weak were strengthened, such as service sectors of the African economies, social and cultural issues of Africa, etc..
