Abstract:The change in energy mix is a evolutionary process.The shift from coal dominated energy industry to hydrocarbon based ones have imposed great impacts on the world economy in terms of its driving forces,quality of development and sustainability.Since the start of the 21st century,the energy industry has been witnessing low carbonization and cleanness of usage as result of employment of natural gas and non-fossil fuels that have been shaping the ways of the world economic and societal developments.The nuclear crisis resulted from earthquake with magnificence 9.0 in Japan has not only shaken the nuclear sector in Japan but has almost reversed wide spread notion of the safety nuclear utilization and directions of the changing energy mix in the years to come.Natural gas,recognized as a bridge from conventional energy sources to unconventional ones,will be utilized to wider extent while renewable energy has been gaining momentum and are used at greater pace with intent to upgrade and optimize the energy in need towards lower carbonization and cleaner usage than ever.
