Abstract:In 2018，the global emerging industries continue to flourish and become an important force driving global economic growth. Countries around the world have made efforts to seize the commanding heights of emerging industries. In terms of industries，significant progress has been made in technology research and development in 3D printing，image recognition and new materials；the scale of artificial intelligence industry has expanded rapidly；the blockchain，big data，cloud computing，and Internet of Things industries have gradually achieved synergistic development；global new energy industry The number of employed people has exceeded 10 million，and Asia has become the “center of gravity + focus” of the new energy industry. Returning to China，in response to the call of the 19th National Congress and the 2018 Central Economic Work Conference，the development goal of China’s emerging industries began to transform into “strengthening” in 2018，leading the new momentum of economic growth. In the first three quarters of the emerging industry，the added value increased by 8.8%. The emerging market entities expanded simultaneously，the regional layout became more and more perfect，and the eastern region continued to maintain its leading edge. The emergence of the military in the central region became a bright spot，the northeast and western regions gradually recovered，and the policy environment was further optimized. The development of various sub-sectors is generally good，showing diversified characteristics. Looking forward to 2019，although faced with many uncertain factors brought about by the severe international trade，this paper predicts that China’s emerging industries will continue to face major development opportunities，the domestic ecological environment will continue to improve and upgrade，core technologies continue to break through，industrial investment Stabilize and rebound，and promote China’s emerging industries to move toward the high-end in the global value chain.
