Abstract:Online new economy is the support point of the current epidemic prevention and control，the focus of promoting economic transformation and upgrading，and the driving force of building future development advantages. This paper focuses on the analysis of the development of Shanghai online new economy under the influence of the epidemic situation. It is found that Shanghai online new economy ranks the first echelon in the country as a whole，and the advantages of service application industry are significant. Driven by the epidemic situation，each segment shows a trend of differentiation and development，and online businesses such as online office，industrial Internet，unmanned factory，online entertainment and online retail e-commerce are increasing Online education is mainly adult vocational education，but there is no explosive growth. There are still some problems in Shanghai’s online new economy，such as the shortage of talents，the urgent need to standardize the industry environment order，and the need to optimize the policy environment. Based on the experience and measures of major cities in China’s online new economy，this paper puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for Shanghai to vigorously develop the online new economy in the next step.
