2019年中国企业在东南亚的投资布局研究

Abstract:With the periodic adjustment of international economic globalization and the increasing trade friction between China and the United States，Chinese enterprises’ investment in Southeast Asia is facing new opportunities and challenges. Therefore，it is of great significance to re-examine the layout of Chinese enterprises’ investment in Southeast Asia. This section analyzes the policy background，external environment，current status and problems of Chinese enterprises’ investment in Southeast Asia，and put forward corresponding suggestions from the country and enterprise levels. Overall，Southeast Asian countries have rich resources，great market development potential and sound business environment. However，most Southeast Asian countries are at medium to high risk and some lack thorough rules of law and/or mature market system. On average，the scale of Chinese enterprises’ investment in Southeast Asia is small and unevenly distributed，but the scale is increasing and the investment is more diversified. Although China has taken plenty of actions to support enterprises to invest in Southeast Asia，bilateral trade and overseas investment insurance system need to be improved，complementary advantages need to be better developed，and cultural exchanges need be strengthened. Meanwhile，enterprises should also conduct in-depth investigation of the investment environment，understand local laws，and strengthen localization tactics.
