Abstract:Montreal’s digital economy has global reach，but is often underestimated，especially in the digital fields of virtual reality and augmented reality，artificial intelligence，cloud computing，sensors，etc. Meanwhile，Montreal’s cultural and creative industries are developed，due to the integration of digital technology，the digital art industry is a major feature of Montreal’s digital economy. This paper provides an overview of the digital economy development in Montreal and highlights the digital technology in Montreal and its impacts on the urban digital economy through its application.
