Abstract:China and Malaysia share a long history in the field of people-to-people exchange，providing the foundation for more interactions. The two sides are committed to realizing the diversity of people to people exchanges and forming a cross-ethnic，cross-civilization and cross-cultural interaction mode. The forms and achievements of people to people exchanges between China and Malaysia are manifested as in nine aspects：conducting dialogue forums，educational exchanges，cultural exchanges，health cooperation，tourism exchanges，media exchanges，scientific and technological exchanges，volunteer exchanges and twin towns exchanges. Further expanding people to people exchanges between China and Malaysia will help to consolidate the development of bilateral relations. Facing the future and continuously improving and deepening the people to people exchanges between the two countries，it is necessary to expand non-governmental exchanges and realize cross-ethnic cultural exchanges between the two countries.
