Abstract:The cultural perspective can provide a way of thinking for studies of the descendants of European immigrants，but there are certain limitations. The political situation，rather than the culture，has more influence on the behavior and lifestyle of immigrants and their descendants. Based on the analysis of the degree of integration，the relationship between culture and institution and the multiple sense of belonging of immigrants themselves，the status of the descendants of immigrants in France，Britain and Germany varies in education，job market and religion. The Republican model in France and the multiculturalism policy in Britain did not promote a diverse and harmonious society，which reflected the limitation of culture to some extent. Germany faces a large number of refugee resettlement difficulties and related problems. The integration of the descendants of European immigrants remains a challenge for European countries.
