Abstract:Norway’s Marine economy（Marine industry，Marine affairs industry，and oil and gas industry）accounts for about 40% of Norway’s GDP and 70% of its export earnings. Oil and gas is Norway’s biggest industrial pillar，producing the highest total output. Fishing is Norway’s traditional industry，and shipping and other maritime sectors are important drivers of the Norwegian economy. The three Marine economic industries have a certain degree of mutual cover，especially the oil and gas industry and the Marine industry are closely intertwined. This is due to the fact that the maritime industry includes a large part of the offshore transport，drilling RIGS，equipment suppliers and shipyards that support oil and gas extraction. Fisheries and oil production in Norway is expected to remain roughly the same over the next decade as today，but aquaculture and maritime industries have great potential. Norway’s policy is that maintaining sustainable fishing and oil extraction，while promoting the development of aquaculture and shipping to increase the value of total production. The development of Marine industry should focus on the construction and value-added of the whole supply chain and value chain for a long time，pay attention to the improvement of vertical value chain，and make use of existing technical experience to expand to new areas in parallel value chain.
