Abstract:With the support of favorable national policies and the stable development of Xinjiang’s economy and society，cross-border e-commerce in Xinjiang has developed rapidly in recent years. This report has used a questionnaire survey to investigate 157 foreign trade companies with large import and export trade volume. It analyzed the cross-border e-commerce application of Xinjiang’s foreign trade companies and the development of cross-border e-commerce service companies through the changes of 2017-2019 annual data. The report also designed the evaluation index system for the competitiveness of cross-border e-commerce in Xinjiang. Through the analysis of the development level of cross-border e-commerce in Xinjiang’s 14 prefectures （cities and regions），it is concluded that there are significant regional differences in the development of cross-border e-commerce in Xinjiang. For example，the northern region in Xinjiang is superior to the southern region. Finally，the report puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions for the development of cross-border e-commerce in Xinjiang.
