The characteristics of the blockchain are especially suitable for the ecosystem where participants need to cooperate in cross-border trade. It can be seen as a tool to promote cooperation and trust. The report analyzes the application of blockchain technology in cross-border trade digital innovation，and systematically studies the application and potential impact of blockchain technology in letters of credit，cross-border payments，supply chain finance，digital logistics，commodity traceability，digital customs and management. The report also analyzes the challenges and existing initiatives of blockchain in cross-border trade applications. The research confirms the huge potential of blockchain technology in the field of cross-border trade. However，it is necessary to formulate a blockchain regulatory framework and unify technical standards to fully realize its potential in cross-border trade digitization.
