Abstract:Cross-border e-commerce is known as the special force in the field of import and export，and cross-border e-commerce in Ningbo has been regarded as the elite force. This report summarizes Ningbo’s achievements in the development of cross-border e-commerce industry since the city has been approved as a cross-border e-commerce comprehensive test area in 2016. It can be concluded that the rapid development of this industry in Ningbo is due to the institutional support，reform and innovation，improvement of industrial ecology，innovation of customs supervision policies，port and shipping economy，and good foundation of foreign trade. The report also explores the future growing trend of global cross-border e-commerce. It is suggested that Ningbo should intensify the transformation of cross-border e-commerce，facilitate the construction of international freight and create a good business environment，so as to further promote the development of e-commerce industry in Ningbo.
