Abstract:The haze of global financial crisis has gradually vanished，and China’s economic achievement has attracted the world’s attention in 2010. In the wave of rapid development，the petrochemical industry is accelerating. Currently，the oil pricing reform is becoming an indispensable issue for its future development，so promoting the market-based reform is an inevitable choice. However，when the reform time is right，the growing inflationary pressures force the reform to face a dilemma. Even though it is difficult to carry out this reform，the direction of market-oriented will not change. In order to coordinate the reform，the integrated package of measures must be implemented，such as building competitive market structure，progressively cultivating and improving healthy market environment，and creating favorable conditions for oil pricing. Predictably，with the steady progress of the reform of pricing，the pace of international development of petrochemical industry will speed up，which will exert considerable influence on the world by its increasingly rising international competitiveness.
