Abstract:Since the Arab Spring，Saudi Arabia and Israel have frequently interacted，and the trend of reconciliation between Israel and Saudi Arabia is obvious.Understanding the current relationship and future trend between Saudi Arabia and Israel is inseparable from combing the history of relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel.The relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel is complex，which can be divided into five periods：origin before the founding of Israel in 1948，intensification of opposition from 1948 to 1967，extreme opposition from 1967 to 1979，detente from 1979 to 2003 and normalization from 2003 to now.The relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel generally shows a trend from confrontation to reconciliation.The logic of evolution of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel is that the internal driving force is the common interests and differences of the two countries，and the external factors are the evolution of situation in the Middle East which includes Palestinian issue，U.S.military control ability in the Middle East and Iran's threat to other countries in the Middle East.
