马来西亚实施“工业4.0”政策及前景

Abstract:With the launch of the National Policy on Industry 4.0 （Industry 4.0WRD） in October 2018，Malaysia became another ASEAN country which adopted the Industry 4.0 strategy. Given the new international situation，the implementation of the Industry 4.0WRD aims at accelerating the progress of industrialization，promoting the industrial transformation，avoiding falling into the middle-income trap and stepping into the high-income countries. Industry 4WRD focus on five high-potential and high-growth industries，including electronic & electric equipment，mechanical equipment，chemical，medical devices and aerospace，introduce preferential policies and incentives to support the development of “Industry 4.0”，promote the digital transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises，and implement the talent cultivation and vocational training plan. Although Malaysia is considered as one of the forerunners responsing to Industry 4.0，it still have a long way to go before stepping into the era of “Industry 4.0” because of the development gap with developed economies.
