文章摘要：马来西亚实行以政府为主导的旅游业发展模式，在近半个世纪的时间里旅游业发展迅速。目前旅游业已经成为马来西亚国民经济的重要支柱性产业，旅游业收入不仅占到国内生产总值（GDP）的15.2%，而且提供了23.5%的就业岗位。通过出台指导性的旅游发展规划和相关政策法规，马来西亚继续加快发展医疗旅游、教育旅游和生态旅游等特色旅游，推动旅游业朝着可持续的方向发展，同时也借助旅游业继续调整产业结构，实现经济转型，进而解决国内的社会发展不平衡问题。
