2018年中欧关系的进展与挑战

Abstract:The year of 2018 marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership. In the past year，China-EU relations enjoyed steady and sound development. Leaders of the two sides maintained close exchanges of visits，and strategic mutual trust was consolidated. Practical cooperation and friendly exchanges in the areas of economy，trade，investment，science，technology and humanities were deepened and expanded. However，at the same time，the EU’s remarks of the “The Belt and Road” threat，intensified protectionism and accusations and interference on issues concerning China’s core interests，are not conducive to the sound development of China-EU relations. In the future，China and the EU should continue to build up strategic mutual trust and fulfill the role of political guidance，advance pragmatic cooperation in various fields，properly manage divergences，and meet each other halfway in global and strategic aspects，and therefore jointly enrich and upgrade the connotation and level of China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership.
