凸显全球影响力的金砖国家媒体格局研究报告

Abstract:This report first reviews the historical evolution of the concept of “BRICS” as well as its structural and deconstructive features,and presents a series of theoretical debates around the concept. It also analyzes,from the two dimensions—the collective characteristics and individual differences of media in BRICS countries,the collective rise in a geographic sense and the huge differences in media development and organization between these countries. The report suggests that BRICS countries need to find ways to develop and cooperate in the media sector to further promote the transformation of the global media landscape. Building on this the report starts from China’s position on international communication,summarizes the value of BRICS media from the normative level and the practical level,and emphasizes that China should actively embrace the concept of BRICS so as to continuously drive the transfer of international communication power. In the end,the report selects representative media cases from five countries and analyzes their practices and experience in international communication.
