Abstract:Driven by the continuous progress of digital technology，many digital enterprises in the world have also developed very fast，and many enterprises with outstanding scale，efficiency，innovation and growth have emerged. Our research group continues to pay attention to the development of global digital economy enterprises，continues the research about the ranking of the competitiveness of digital enterprises in previous years，and makes a new evaluation and ranking about global digital enterprises in 2018. The research results show that Apple Inc，Amazon Inc and Samsung Inc are the top three in terms of overall competitiveness；Apple Inc，Amazon Inc and Microsoft Inc are the top three in terms of scale competitiveness；Vmware，Match Group，Verisign Inc is the top three in terms of efficiency competitiveness；Samsung Inc，Tokyo Electronics and Amazon Inc are the top three in terms of innovation competitiveness；and pinduoduo，Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Splunk Inc are the top three in terms of growth competitiveness. There are many digital enterprises with strong competitiveness，whether the comprehensive competitiveness，or scale competitiveness，efficiency competitiveness，innovation competitiveness and growth competitiveness，are among the best in the world；there are some digital enterprises whose strong competitiveness is more reflected in one or more aspects，such as pinduoduo in China，who is growing very fast. The United States，Japan and China are the top three of digital countries，whose enterprise number almost account for 70% of the top 100 companies in any way. The United States in particular has an indisputable “boss” status. The vigorous development of Chinese digital enterprises indicates that Chinese digital economy has entered a special period of rapid development.
